Tracey Roberts and Maria Forde regularly perform concerts together and have developed a beautiful Christmas Concert Program which they performed orginally at Wyreena a few years ago - with great success. Back again in 2005 by popular demand, they presented a selection of their newest songs plus some well-loved and lesser-known Christmas songs for this special concert.

The Nightingales are Tracey Roberts, Maria Forde and Janette Geri - three of Melbourne's best singer-songwriters - the quality of harmonies, performance and songs are outstanding, and they combine this with good humour, anecdotes and beautiful musicianship - their friendship and camaraderie is clearly apparent. |
The Roberts Sisters

The Roberts Sisters (L to R: Deanna, Lauren and Tracey) have actually sung together all their lives but more recently as a professional trio with a diverse vocal range and sound and the unmistakeable compatibility and harmony that comes from being siblings. They share a wealth of professional experience between them with musical backgrounds of jazz, pop, cabaret and music theatre as well as involvement in theatre direction and production. Their style of music is warm, smooth and sophisticated with a stylised range of songs combining gorgeous harmonies, clear and lilting melodies, exuberance and flair. On Sunday 18th December 2005, they performed at the Monash Carols by Candlelight event at Jells Park in front of 15,000 people - a wonderful and memorable event. |
