20 applicants battle it out for a place in the finals for the Hills Idol. Finals to be
judged in the afternoon by Make Brady (Up there Cazaly), James Merlino (State Labor MP),
and Puffing Billy CEO Eamonn Seddon (who is also a trained musician).

A Dandenong Ranges Music Council initiative
staging a series of events linking schools, community music, arts and historical groups
acknowledging the achievements of strong women of the past and developing new material
which reflects the issues of then and now. This project has been made possible through the
Centenary of Women's Suffrage Grants.
