Wendy Rule
Over the past few years, Wendy Rule has become one of Melbourne's most respected and sought-after artists, her emotionally rich, enticingly cinematic songs and extraordinary voice drawing more and more people into her musical world. It's a world unlike any other - often dark, always adventurous, filled with memorable melodies, gentle textures, and dramatic power.
The atmospheric and richly emotive songs of Wendy Rule have entranced and excited an ever-growing audience, both on disc and in live performance. She is one of Australia's most consistent and innovative artists, and her songs combine irresistible melodies with rich aural textures and a rare personal honesty, her remarkable voice traversing emotions and octaves with effortless grace.
Her 2 CDs, Deity and World Between Worlds are both albums of rare depth, adventure and maturity cementing Wendy's status as one of Australia's most inventive and essential artists.
"Dark, sensual sonic theatre in the vein of Kurt Weill... compelling stuff"
Rolling Stone Australia
Fiona Boyes
Fiona Boyes is widely regarded as the leading female blues guitarist in Australia today.
Fiona plays both acoustic finger style and electric guitar and is a distinctive vocalist and songwriter. Influenced by early blues players such as Memphis Minnie, Tommy Johnson and Rev Gary Davis, her own songs are styled from ragtime to country blues. In 1999 two of her tunes were finalists in the Songwriters Association National Songwriting Competition.
The front person of the Southern and New Orleans style blues band, The Mojos, for the past twelve years, Fiona has now embarked on a solo career with the release of her CD Blues in my Heart.
"A very, very, fine CD. Mellow and infectious, acoustic blues at its best"
John Lane, Sydney Blues Society
"A gorgeous voice, enviable fretwork and provocative song writing"
Helen Farley for Musicians Realm
Crying in Public Places
Crying in Public Places is a four-piece a capella group - Anni Davey, Jane Bayly, Maude Davey and Karen Hadfield.
Crying in Public Places have delighted audiences throughout Australia, South East Asia, the United Kingdom and Spain with their unique and compelling blend of theatre and soaring harmonies.
In the ten years since their first appearance in Melbourne they have attracted acclaim from audiences and the respect of their peers in both the music and theatre worlds. Separately they have been associated with some of the most innovative and exciting performances seen in Melbourne.
All four are highly regarded by the theatre industry as actors, directors, managers and event producers. They are performers of the finest kind: talented, honest and giving without a hint of pretentiousness.
"Great voices cutting the air...sweet and lyrical...soaring and triumphant...breathless and exhilarating"

Chloe Hall
Chloe Hall has been performing professionally as a singer-songwriter for over 10 years, playing to audiences of up to 3000 people, either solo or with her band. She has played Australia's major festivals including Port Fairy, The National Festival and The Fringe.
Chloe has a strength and serenity in her voice and her songs are picturesque and adorned with lilting melodies. These qualities are presented with a shining personality and make for pleasurable listening.
Her CD White Sky is a delicious mix of folk and subtle electronics in the vein of Suzanne Vega and Beth Norton.
